Iceland Music Information Centre's (IMIC) sheet music collection counts over ten thousand titles by more than three hundred Icelandic composers – one can safely say that no larger or more comprehensive collection of Icelandic compositions exists in the world. The collection has grown steadily since the foundation of IMIC in 1968, with Icelandic composers delivering and registering their works with the centre but the centre has also received gifts from estates of composers.

The works are registered in the IMIC database, either for sale or solely for archiving. After cataloguing, the sheet music appears in our web store, shop.mic.is where you can preview sheet music and complete the purchase if so desired. However, our office handles larger orders and special requests, as well as the hiring of orchestral works.
